Cody Rhodes could be our next Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, but that isn’t the only goal for the American Nightmare.
Since his return to WWE in April 2022, Rhodes has been one of the promotion’s top stars and not even a torn pectoral suffered last June could hinder his popularity with the fans.
Speaking to Esquire ahead of WrestleMania 39, Rhodes made his long-term goals clear, when he said,
“I want to be the best wrestler in the world, the biggest superstar on the planet.”
Rhodes also spoke about his wife Brandi and their daughter Liberty and hopes WrestleMania 39 will make their sacrifices worth it. He said,
“They’ll be at WrestleMania and be able to see what we do all this work for, the time away that I do spend… what it culminates with.”
Cody Rhodes will challenge Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns tomorrow night at WrestleMania 39 (Night Two).
