Cody Rhodes’ AEW departure was surely a shocking announcement, and while some believe it’s a work, others didn’t hide their disappointment to the point that Cody himself stepped in as The American Nightmare tried to console a fan.
In response to an article, a fan tweeted that they would take a hiatus from watching AEW as Cody was “the face of the revolution” and him leaving the company is hard to accept. Cody replied to the fan by encouraging him to keep watching AEW and mentioned many names who were a vital part of the company.
