WWE is facing a dilemma of their own making regarding plans for Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39.
Reigns is expected to headline the April event, which if so will mark his eighth WrestleMania main event and third in a row.
WrestleVotes reports that WWE wants to have two World Champions for WrestleMania 39, a problem given that the titles were unified in April this year.
WWE does not want Reigns to lose at all in the run-up to WrestleMania 39 though as he has been consistently booked well in his run as the Tribal Chief.
WWE’s Head of Creative Triple H and his team are reportedly open to any ideas to fix the problem.
The situation w/ the world titles & Roman Reigns is “complex” according to a source. They would like to go into “Mania season” & WrestleMania itself with 2 champions, but they also don’t want Reigns losing AT ALL prior. I’m told HHH & co are open to all things creatively here.

Reigns is rumored to face his cousin The Rock at WrestleMania 39, though fans have speculated that Cody Rhodes will be the one to dethrone the Tribal Chief.
