In 2000, to promote the movie ‘Ready to Rumble’ Arquette was brought in to WCW. During his tenure in WCW, David Arquette would win the WCW World Heavyweight Championship on the April 25 episode of WCW Thunder. This moment in WCW history is widely noted as a pivotal moment in the death of WCW.
In 2018, Arquette made a resurgence in professional wrestling aiming to earn the respect of fans and talent after 18 years of being trolled over his time in WCW. Arquette would go on to make appearances in CWFH, Border City Wrestling, and NWA. On November 16, 2018, Arquette wrestled Nick Gage in a deathmatch at Joey Janela’s LA Confidential event.
