There are multiple contracts for Impact Wrestling that may be expiring earlier than expected. These contracts were re-signed in 2019 but are set to expire. According to Fightful Select, the signings were announced in 2019 when the contracts were signed but they took effect many months later after the company had announced the re-signings.
Seeing as how most contracts were signed at the beginning of last year, this would mean that a majority of the contracts would expire by January 1st, 2021. Some wrestlers have a few more months left on their contracts that would take them through the Spring. Unless these wrestlers are signed to new deals, they will not be appearing on future Impact tapings that will cover the first four months of 2021.
Ethan Page’s contract is set to expire on December 31st and he is rumored to be in talks with MLW, AEW and WWE. More details are expected to come later, in terms of exactly whose contract may be expiring and who may be leaving the company.
