The recent online activity of Tony Khan reflects poorly on AEW, according to WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff.

After AEW Dynamite was beaten in the ratings by WWE NXT last week, Khan took to Twitter and pointed out that NXT earned under 1 million viewers despite having John Cena & The Undertaker on the show.

Khan also referenced the Vince McMahon allegations and referred to ‘bald a**holes’ Triple H & Shawn Michaels in tweets prior to NXT’s victory over Dynamite.

During a recent edition of his “83 Weeks” podcast, Bischoff argued that Khan went way too far given the result of the ‘Tuesday Night War.’ He said,

“Had I had my ass handed to me as decidedly as Tony had his handed to him, the last thing I would’ve done was to come out and try to spin that ass-kicking as any kind of a victory… This is not the time to pull your pants down and show the world your ass.”

Bischoff added that Khan saying he hates a portion of wrestling fans, which Khan called ‘WWE avatar accounts,’ was a bad move considering AEW’s ratings defeat. He added,

“Tony Khan — president of AEW — did not do the brand any favors, and he did not do the network he’s in partnership with any favors.”
