WWE would be wise to keep clear of the valueless CM Punk, according to WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff.
Earlier this month, it was reported that WWE and Punk are in talks about a return, close to a decade after Punk walked out of the company in 2014.
Speaking on the latest edition of his “83 Weeks” podcast, Bischoff addressed the possibility that Punk could return to WWE and was against the idea. He said,
“WWE doesn’t need CM Punk. They are doing very well without him.”
Bischoff also spoke about the possibility of Punk returning at WWE Survivor Series this November in Punk’s native Chicago. He said,
“Chicago is going to pop either way. No added value. None!”
