The #FreeAli movement continues to trend on social media after Mustafa Ali announced that he had asked for his WWE release. It was later reported that WWE has no plans to let him out of his deal.
Some fans mentioned on Twitter that the “WWE on FOX” account has been blocking people who have been using that hashtag. Ali also blocked the account.
Former WWE star Mia Yim took to Twitter to share her full support of the #FreeAli movement. The two wrestlers were part of the RETRIBUTION group together.

Yim was among the names to be released by the company on November 4th.
As previously reported, Ali had a heated argument with Vince McMahon over creative direction. Since then, he’s not been back to WWE TV.
