AEW tag-team FTR has been left angry after being pulled from the upcoming AEW: Fight Forever video game.

AEW: Fight Forever will mark the promotion’s first console video game, after previously releasing AEW Double or Nothing: Casino, and AEW Elite GM on mobile.

Sources who spoke to Fightful shared the news of the pair being pulled and their reaction.

“They at least made it to the “model phase” of the game. We’re told that FTR were informed of the call, and weren’t too happy about it, as being involved in video games usually also comes with a significant bonus.”

No explanation has been given as to why Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood were pulled from the game.

FTR joined AEW in May 2020 and won the AEW World Tag Team Championships in September at the All Out pay-per-view event event.

The pair are currently triple tag team champions in their first reigns as ROH, IWGP and AAA World Tag Team Champions.
