There was a reported incident between Psycho Clown and Dr. Wagner Jr. that took place during the meet & greet signing prior to GCW’s “If I Die First” event last night. According to multiple eyewitnesses, both Wagner Jr. and Clown got into a heated altercation that led to a fistfight. The question is, was this a legit shoot or for storyline purposes?
During the event, Clown made an appearance during the main event between Wagner Jr. and AEW’s Joey Janela, which led to Clown taunting Wagner Jr. that led to a “Mask vs. Hair” match being set up for a future GCW show.
GCW Owner Brett Lauderdale posted the following on his Twitter account, apologizing to the fans who attended the meet & greet for the incident that took place:
“Apologies to those that witnessed the incident between Psycho Clown & Dr. Wagner during the Meet and Greet tonite in Dallas. We had no indication there were any issues and are taking precautions to ensure there are no further incidents this evening.”
