– As reported previously here, Goldberg and Brock Lesnar are set to face at the Survivor Series event this year. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Vince McMahon isn’t very high on this match, but they’d still feel it would be a good way to hype the WWE 2K17 game. Other reports suggest this is a one-shot deal for Goldberg, as he is very weary of working extended dates for WWE.

– As of right now, WWE has booked Brock Lesnar vs. Shane McMahon for WrestleMania 33 next year, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. However, WWE is starting to consider having Brock Lesnar face current WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens for the Universal Championship. Officials have reportedly been high on KO, and some believe that Owens deserves a big match at WrestleMania next year. In spite of that, WWE officials want closure from Lesnar’s F-5 to Shane McMahon after his match with Randy Orton at Summerslam.

– RAW star Paige has been out since June with a neck injury that was deemed worse than originally thought. Paige recently visited with her doctor, and she was reportedly given two choices. The first variation of surgery would not completely fix her neck, but would permit her to return to the ring much sooner. The latter option would be fusion surgery, would heal her completely, but she’d have to miss in excess of one year from the ring. Paige has yet to make a choice as noted on her Twitter, but it’s expected that she will make her choice within a week.
