As seen during last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, a commercial for Pabst Blue Ribbon aired. In the video, Matt Cardona, Chelsea Green, Swoggle and Brian Myers all appeared. According to a report from Fightful, AEW Superstar Hangman Page was originally supposed to appear in the advertisement.
Pabst Blue Ribbon had been hoping to capitalize on the controversy over the Nick Gage pizza cutter spot that upset Domino’s Pizza. Due to this, they rushed into production on the advertisement. Page actually flew to St. Louis, MO and was paid a flat fee to shoot the commercial. With that being said, an AEW representative put a stop to things as there were several clearances and agreements that were required. WarnerMedia’s advertising department also asked for changes, as any wrestling moves were asked to be removed.
