Dave Meltzer, in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, provided some interesting insight into how many viewers dropped off after the Rock was off the television screen for the debut episode of WWE SmackDown on FOX.

Dave is reporting that the tag team match featuring The Four Horsewomen of WWE lost 360,000 viewers. It should be noted that Dave would go on to say that it is not necessarily reflective of the audience’s perception of women’s wrestling but rather so many people tuning out after The Rock left.
