Independent wrestler Rob Rage, who competed often in Ontario, Canada, has passed away.
Slam Wrestling is reporting that Rage, real-name Rob Thomson, passed away on Saturday after suffering a cardiac arrest backstage at a Hammering Cancer 4 fundraising show in Hamilton, Ontario. He was 45 years old.
According to the report, Thomson suffered the cardiac arrest after coming back to the dressing room after his match at the show. Wrestlers performed CPR until medical responders arrived, but he was unable to be resuscitated and passed away on the way to the hospital in an ambulance.
