It was reported last week that Braun Strowman was scheduled to be backstage at this week’s Monday Night Raw from Houston, Texas. However, that wasn’t the case as PWinsider.com is reporting that he wasn’t there. Instead, Strowman has been spotted in Austin, Texas which is where WWE will air tonight’s episode of SmackDown Live. Although he’s not expected to appear on the show, he’ll likely be checked out by WWE doctors.
Strowman underwent elbow surgery and as of this writing, there is no word when he will be cleared to return to the ring. He is slated to face Baron Corbin at the WWE TLC pay-per-view event.
WWE officials are preparing other plans in case he can’t work this event after he underwent elbow surgery. A multi-man match involving Baron Corbin could take place instead of his singles contest against Strowman if Strowman isn’t cleared in time.
