There are several AEW wrestlers who are currently on the sidelines due to injuries. Fightful Select reported some updates on these stars.
Lee Johnson, who hasn’t wrestled since early May, has been battling a knee injury. Johnson will be out of action for at least the next few months.
Matt Hardy was also banged up following his AAA TripleMania match this past Saturday. He had some major swelling on his knee, but there’s no word yet on the severity of the injury.
Regarding Bryan Danielson, who has been out of action due to an injury, there’s still no word yet on if he’s been medically cleared to compete. It should be noted that he is advertised to address his status for Forbidden Door and Blood & Guts on Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
Finally, AEW is hopeful to have Darius Martin back by the end of 2022, but that’s hardly a guarantee at this point.
