AEW wrestler Isiah Kassidy has had no problems with Tony Khan despite reports of the AEW President being unavailable backstage.
In recent weeks, several reports of conflict within AEW have surfaced, leading to Khan calling a talent-wide meeting ahead of last week’s AEW Dynamite TV tapings.
Speaking to The Ten Count, Kassidy made it clear that he enjoys working with Khan, who he said is “the best.”
“He cares about what you have to say and he actually cares about what you have to say.” Kassidy went on to describe Khan as “accessible,” with a two-way free flow of ideas between Khan and the wrestlers, despite the fact that he’s such a busy man.
“Sometimes you catch him, sometimes you gotta’ schedule. But if you catch him and he’s not busy you can say what you gotta’ say, and he’ll have an open ear to you, and that’s cool.”
Despite the positive response, Kassidy isn’t booked for this weekend’s AEW All Out pay-per-view event, and told NBC Sports Boston that it is “very disappointing.”
