In his latest YouTube video, AEW wrestler Isiah Kassidy discussed several matches he would like Private Party to have in 2024, which includes a tag team bout against Adam Copeland and Christian Cage.
Marq Quen said, “I want a rematch with FTR. A rematch with The Young Bucks, The Hardys, the tag champs [Ricky Starks and Big Bill], The Acclaimed, The Gunns … we didn’t wrestle half of the teams [in AEW].”
Kassidy said, “I don’t know if they’re ever going to get together again, and I hope they can put their differences aside to come together for the greater good. If we do this match, we collect all the infinity stones … Edge and Christian.”
Quen noted that this would complete “the set,” as the duo previously wrestled The Hardys and The Dudleys.
On a recent edition of the “Developmentally Speaking” podcast, former WWE Superstar Lince Dorado thanked Claudio Castagnoli and Gabe Sapolsky for recommending him to WWE higher-ups.
Dorado said, “Claudio [Castagnoli] … actually had mentioned my name. Like, ‘Hey, you should use this guy, he’s pretty local and he’s good. He understands the style and he works all the styles, basically.’ … [William] Regal ended up calling me.”
Dorado added that Castagnoli was one of his trainers in CHIKARA and gave him his ring name when they were both in that promotion.
Since Dorado landed on his feet like a cat, Castagnoli gave him the “Golden Lynx” name.
