There has been an internal push over the last week for WWE to sign James Ellsworth to a full-time deal, according to PWInsider. There has been rumors that Ellsworth might be featured in the 2017 Royal Rumble main event.
Ellsworth’s merchandise sales have been ahead of top Superstars in the company, which reportedly made some in WWE think that the company should him.
