WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett is kept pretty busy backstage in AEW, but you won’t be hearing much right now from Double-J himself.
In addition to being an on-screen character, Jarrett is AEW’s Director of Business Development, after being hired following his WWE release last year.
Speaking with French entertainment site CatchNewz, Jarrett was asked about future projects he is working on but chose to keep quiet.
“AEW is a privately held company and what I do is I develop business. And I think when the world needs to know something we’ve developed, we’ll let it out. But respectfully and candidly, but diplomatically, we’ll tell you when we’re ready to tell you.”
Upon Jarrett’s arrival in AEW last November, Tony Khan praised the former World Champion as someone with “such extensive experience as a third-generation businessman in pro wrestling.”
Jarrett’s most recent match saw him, Jay Lethal, and Satnam Singh, win a six-man tag-team match at the February 26, AEW Dark tapings.
