Regardless of whether WWE NXT or AEW Dynamite emerge victorious in this week’s war for viewers/ratings, it’ll be the fans who are the real winners.
Speaking on a recent edition of his “My World” podcast, Jeff Jarrett said that when companies go against each other for ratings, the fans are treated to incredible shows. He said,
“Those wrestling wars captivate people’s imaginations, and then some. So yeah, the wrestling fan wins.”
This week’s episode of WWE NXT saw appearances by John Cena, Paul Heyman, Asuka, LA Knight, Cody Rhodes & The Undertaker, in addition to several high-profile matches.
AEW Dynamite: Title Tuesday saw a new International Champion and Women’s World Champion be crowned, as well as the in-ring debut of Adam “Edge” Copeland.
