AEW’s Jim Ross has said it was “not all good news” at his first appointment for taking care of his wound following his battle with skin cancer.
JR was diagnosed with skin cancer in late 2021 but was quickly able to beat it and return to AEW programming.
On Twitter, Ross shared a photo of his leg, where the cancer was, and said that his first appointment for wound care felt like forever.
Ross added that it was not all good news, but nothing he can’t handle, and is expected to heal up in six months time.
JR added that he will be at this Friday’s AEW Rampage in Atlantic City, NJ.
My first wound care appointment today lasted an eternity.
Not all good news but nothing it can’t handle.
I’m told I’m looking at 6 more months of healing.
Looking forward to Atlantic City for Rampage Friday night on @tntdrama
