It looks like a pair of big WWE Crown Jewel matches are in jeopardy. As of this writing, WWE has not pulled out of their scheduled pay-per-view (PPV) event in Saudi Arabia next month (Fri. November 2, 2018) given the controversy currently ongoing within the country. Robbie Fox at Barstool Sports is reporting that top WWE stars John Cena and Daniel Bryan are refusing to travel to Saudi Arabia for the show.

Several reports have suggested that a number of WWE talents are uncomfortable making the trip. Now it seems two of WWE’s biggest stars are taking a stand. Cena is currently advertised to participate in the WWE World Cup tournament. As for Bryan, he is booked for a rather big match on the card as well. He will face AJ Styles for the WWE Championship.

WWE’s problems reportedly don’t end there. Fox also reports that WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns is currently injured:

“WWE Crown Jewel could be in trouble. I was just told Reigns is currently injured and that Cena and Bryan are “refusing” to work the show. Many on the current WWE roster have expressed concerned with going, as well, but obviously not all of them have the power like Cena/Bryan.”

If the report holds true, that puts both World Title matches on the card in jeopardy. Bryan vs. Styles, and Reigns who is slated to defend his title against Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman. We’ll keep you updated as we learn more…
