It’s no secret that John Cena is set to move from the SmackDown brand to the Raw brand shortly.
He is scheduled for his first Raw pay-per-view since the Draft last year with WWE No Mercy at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA on Sunday, September 24th. In regards to when he will stop working SmackDown TV events, it will be with the SummerSlam go-home show on Tuesday, August 15th. After that, he is only scheduled to work Monday Night Raw tapings and Raw pay-per-views.
Cena will only be working RAW live events starting this month except for the SmackDown live event on Monday, August 14th at the MassMutual Center in Springfield, MA.
We noted earlier on the site that WWE is advertised a first-time ever match involving Cena and Samoa Joe for the Raw TV event on September 4th in Omaha, Nebraska. Also advertised for the upcoming event is Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman in an “Omaha Street Fight.” Joe vs. Cena is also being advertised for several other WWE live events.

House show coming to Fresno. Cena vs Samoa Joe. Guessing the headliner. Battle royal with the winner facing Miz for the IC title.
