Jonathan Gresham is still your Undisputed ROH World Champion after defeating Dalton Castle at AEW Battle of the Belts II.
Gresham would successfully defend his title, picking up the win via submission. It was The Octopus Hold that was Gresham’s weapon of choice, bringing the bout to a close after a little over ten minutes.
Following the conclusion of the match, the recently-debuted Satnam Singh would head to the ring with Jay Lethal and Sonjay Dutt. Singh would lay out The Boys with a double-chokeslam, before catching Castle mid-dive and throwing him into the ring steps. The trio of Dutt, Lethal & Singh would then enter the ring where Lethal would lay out Jonathan Gresham with a Lethal Injection.
Both Lee Moriarty and Matt Sydal would try and fail to stop a further beat down of Gresham, before ROH TV Champion Samoa Joe would clear the ring with a steel pipe.
