We reported on Saturday night here on eWn that Karrion Kross suffered a separated shoulder during his match against Keith Lee at NXT TakeOver XXX.
During Wednesday night’s NXT broadcast, Kross came out and relinquished the NXT Championship due to the injury. Kross came to the ring in a sling and noted that he’s a “realist” who understands the reality of his injury and knows WWE officials won’t let him compete. He said,
“On the path there are obstacles, but for me, the obstacles are the path.”
He then put the title in the middle of the ring and walked to the back.
