Kota Ibushi was recently hospitalized after he suffered an ankle injury in his match with Naomichi Marufuji at NOAH ‘The New Year.’

Ibushi has taken to Twitter to announce that he will undergo ankle surgery. He said,

“Sorry for the late contact. I’m sure Mr. NOAH will give you more details, but I would like to inform you that the inside of my left ankle was quite a mess, so I decided to have surgery on the right ligament. I think there will be a release soon. I’m really, really sorry.”

Maki Itoh is currently sidelined with a health issue, as TJPW announced that she is taking time off after experiencing numbness in her arm.

Itoh has been experiencing numbness since her loss to Rina Yamashita on January 4.

Itoh also shared a message for her fans, saying, I will be absent from all matches scheduled for today, including domestic and international matches, for a while.”
