Kurt Angle Claims Brock Lesnar’s Stupidity Resulted In Loss Against Goldberg At WrestleMania 20

While speaking with Inside The Ropes, WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle recalled Brock Lesnar conveying to him his desire to leave WWE. Angle warned Lesnar that he should wait until WrestleMania 20 to inform Vince McMahon about his plans, lest he wanted to lose to Goldberg.

Lesnar didn’t pay any heed to Angle’s advice and ended up losing to Goldberg at WrestleMania for obvious reasons.

Angle said, “We go back. We go to RAW, or SmackDown. We’re on SmackDown. He goes up to Vince. Says, ‘Vince, I want to try out for the NFL.’ I was like, “Oh! F*** man! He just f**** himself.” So, next week is WrestleMania and what happened… Brock Lesnar does the job against Goldberg. It would’ve been the other way if Brock would have smartened up but he didn’t because he’s an idiot.”
