Fightful Select reported today that Kurt Angle is set to be in St. Louis, the site of the WWE Royal Rumble, this weekend.
There’s been no confirmation as to whether Angle will be at the show or if WWE has any plans for him. WWE does hold community and press events in addition to the Royal Rumble.
Angle is a part of Conrad Thompson’s podcast network, which is running live shows as well. The report noted Angle’s planned presence for St. Louis isn’t related to Conrad’s shows. Instead, there have been discussions about him returning as an on-screen presence in WWE.
The only confirmation WWE made was they had planned on having Angle in St. Louis. Angle hasn’t wrestled since his retirement match at WrestleMania 35 in 2019.
