On last week’s episode of SmackDown Live, Charlotte Flair defeated Bayley to become the new No. 1-contender for the SmackDown Live Women’s Championship. Flair will now be facing Becky Lynch for the SDL Women’s Championship at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view (PPV) next month.
This will be Lynch’s second title match on the card, as she will also be defending her RAW Women’s Championship against Lacey Evans in a separate match as well. After Flair solidified herself as Lynch’s next challenger for the SDL Women’s Title, the decision has received a ton of backlash from fans, who have become fed up with seeing Flair receiving countless opportunities.
Speaking on “Figure 4 Daily” recently, former WWE star Lance Storm offered his thoughts on the matter. Here’s what he had to say:
“She’s probably just going to the pay-per-view to lose again to Becky. If that is the case, it’s like, so do you want to take Ember Moon, someone who hasn’t had that run yet on top in WWE and beat her in her first match, just because well, we don’t want Charlotte in that spot again?
“It’s like they want everything they want the second they want it and they think they understand enough and obviously this is a vocal minority, I’m not saying everybody’s this dumb. Everyone doesn’t deserve a shot and if everyone does, what does it mean? You put someone on TV three weeks in a row and everyone wants to b***h about it.”
