WWE’s Liv Morgan is one of the promotion’s most popular Superstars, but the former champion has opened up about becoming a mother.
2022 was a monumental year for Morgan, who challenged for the RAW Women’s Championship in January, and captured both the Money in the Bank and SmackDown Women’s title in July.
Speaking on the Out of Character podcast, Morgan addressed the possibility of becoming a mother and said that Roux, the daughter of Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins led her to ‘catching’ baby fever. She said,
“I never thought that for myself. Honestly it’s really weird what changed it, and I don’t know why this was the moment.
“We did mixed live events this past weekend and I got to see Roux. For some reason, just seeing her eight months later and how much she’s grown, and seeing Becky be a mom, knowing she left at the height of her career, then had this baby and is still going on so strong, succeeding in other things as well. I don’t know. Just seeing Roux in that moment, I had a little bit of baby fever.”
After announcing her pregnancy in April 2020, Lynch returned to in-ring competition at SummerSlam 2021.
During a recent episode of “Talk is Jericho,” AEW’s Jade Cargill claimed she was put off by WWE during her tryout when they questioned how committed the mother could be to the promotion.
