During Saturday’s WWE Crown Jewel 2023 pay-per-view event, Logan Paul dethroned Rey Mysterio to win the WWE United States Championship.
Paul’s assistant handed him a pair of brass knuckles while the referee was looking away, however, the weapon slipped from his hands and landed at ringside.
As the assistant proceeded to collect the knuckles, Santos Escobar jumped right in to stop the foul play, and he chased the individual through the crowd.
However, in the heat of the moment, Escobar mistakenly put the knuckles back in the ring and Paul didn’t waste any time in arming himself with the weapon.
Mysterio went for the 619 and just when he performed his signature dive, Paul knocked him out cold with the brass knuckles.
The Maverick covered Mysterio to win the match as well as the WWE United States Title.
