The National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) reportedly had a locker room meeting yesterday during the TV tapings which apparently “ruffled some feathers.” Pwinsider is reporting that the meeting was heavily discussed by talents after the show took place and continued today.
The scheduled meeting time was actually delayed because a production meeting ran long. Also, Jay Bradley and Sal Rinauro are said to have acted as if they were in charge of the meeting, talking about punctuality. Several people took the whole thing as a rib, while some say it was meant to be taken as such. Some actually took offense to it, especially with veterans such as Jazz, Bully Ray and Homicide being there, and more “deserving” to speak.
Some people are also saying that some talent walked out of the meeting because it was Bradley and Rinauro who called it – but that hasn’t been confirmed.
After the meeting, Luke Hawx spoke about having respect for the locker room. Hawx said several times in recent memory that talents have been asked to clean up after themselves, and others have had to clean up left over food and other items left behind. He said that with Billy Corgan investing in them, the least they can do is clean up after themselves, show respect for the locker room, and do what’s being asked of them.
