Matt Cardona is willing to take Karl Anderson’s spot at the November 5th Battle Autumn event if the WWE RAW Superstar doesn’t show.
Prior to returning to WWE, Anderson was booked to defend his NJPW Openweight title at Battle Autumn, but has made it clear he plans to work the WWE Crown Jewel event that same day.
NJPW has said that Anderson must appear at the event or be stripped of the Openweight Championship.
On Twitter, Cardona offered to take Anderson’s spot in the title match with Hikuleo.

Cardona, who has competed for AEW, Impact, GCW and the NWA since his WWE release in 2020, has yet to wrestle for New Japan.
