Matt Hardy responded to a fan who claimed that he was the one who put Jeff Hardy in harm’s way and led to his issues with addiction.
The account that sent the tweet to Matt has since been deleted. Hardy wrote the following as his response:
“Words posted on Twitter cannot hurt me. I’ve never suggested my bro do anything that hurts him.. As a matter of fact, I proposed the Brother Nero concept so Jeff WOULD NOT do his high impact moves. I don’t care if Jeff ever wrestles again, I just want him healthy for his family.”
As previously reported, Jeff Hardy has been charged with Driving While License Canceled/Suspended/Revoked, Violation of Restrictions Placed on Drivers License, and DUI Alcohol/Drugs Third Offense within 10 Years.
Jeff is suspended indefinitely from AEW and cannot return until he completes rehab and remains sober.
