Max Caster of the Acclaimed took to social media on Tuesday to reveal that he won’t be competing at the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door event.
Caster said he had “too many” people from New Japan Pro Wrestling wanting to face him, and “backstage politics” meant nobody will now get the chance. He wrote,
“YO! LISTEN!
I was supposed to be on #ForbiddenDoor next weekend
However, too many NJPW roster members wanted to fight ME (the Best Wrestler Alive ™)
They couldn’t decide who would face me and backstage politics got in the way. Maybe next year!
