NJPW wrestler Mercedes Mone’ is confident that she will deliver in her upcoming IWGP Women’s Championship match with KAIRI.
Mone’, aka Sasha Banks, made her NJPW debut at Wrestle Kingdom 17 earlier today, after being released from WWE last year.
The former RAW Women’s Champion attacked KAIRI at Wrestle Kingdom 17 and made it clear she is after the IWGP Women’s Championship.
During a post-Wrestle Kingdom 17 press conference, Mone’ spoke about her upcoming match with STARDOM’s KAIRI and suggested it could be the best bout in STARDOM history.
“I’m interested in many wrestlers, but the reason I decided to fight KAIRI-san in the first place is because we have a ‘past.’ February 18th, San Jose, New Japan I think it will be the best match in STARDOM history, so please look forward to it.”
KAIRI vs. Mercedes Mone’ will take place at NJPW: Battle in the Valley on February 18.
