AEW star Emi Sakura posted a video on Wednesday where she informed Minoru Suzuki about the announcement of the “AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door” event that will be taking place on June 26th from the United Center in Chicago, IL.
In the video, Suzuki reveals that he already has an opponent in mind for who he wants to face at the event.
Sakura tweeted the following,
“Big News!! @AEW x @njpw1972 will PPV together 【Forbidden Door】announced. I asked him about it. He said he had an opponent he wanted to fight. #EmiTakesAEW”
Samoa Joe defeated Minoru Suzuki last week on AEW Dynamite to capture the ROH Television Championship.
