AEW World Champion MJF has had some messy times in his career which includes winning a match with what he tactfully describes as a “full diaper.”
During the latest episode of “Hot Ones: Truth Or Dab,” MJF revealed that he crapped himself during a match following a splash from Impact alumnus Ace Romero. He said,
“I’ve s**t myself in the ring. Guy’s name was Ace Romero. So what happened was, he was coming off the the top rope, brother hit me with a splash and I thought I took a big enough log before the match, clearly I didn’t finish the job. Luckily, I was wearing black trunks so nobody noticed and it was a multi-man match, so when he landed on me, immediately s**t myself.
Within that moment I was like, ‘You know what, I’m just going to roll out.’ So I rolled out, kind of stayed low for a little bit and waited for my moment to strike, still won the match with a full diaper. [laughs] That’s why I’m a world champion, didn’t happen by accident.”
Grado made an appearance on the “Zero Hour” pre-show at AEW All In 2023, and he reflected on that experience in an interview with Cultaholic.
Grado joined forces with Paul Wight and Anthony Ogogo to fend off Jeff Jarrett, Satnam Singh, Jay Lethal, and Sonjay Dutt in the ring.

On being nervous before the show: “I was going down [to the hotel] but I [was] nervous. I was like, ‘What am I doing turning up to the hotel where the wrestlers are?’.. And then Jimmy Jacobs went, ‘Is that f***ing Grado?’”
On feeling welcome at the show: “They’re lovely people, and I know probably 60% of them. There’s some wrestlers coming up to me going, ‘It’s a pleasure to meet you.’ One guy said, … ‘Oh my God, pleasure to meet you. I studied your work back in the day.’ I’m going, ‘What the f**k did you learn?’”
