MJF will be defending the AEW World Championship on next week’s episode of Dynamite.
On Friday night’s episode of AEW Rampage, Daniel Garcia defeated Trent Barretta in the main event. Following the match, Garcia cut a promo where he called out MJF. Garcia revealed that while he knows a lot of people are going after MJF these days, he’s greedy and wants the first shot.
MJF has since responded via Twitter, writing:

Well Danny. You want a brush with greatness.

This Wednesday night.

In other MJF news, the AEW World Champion has seen Ric Flair’s recent comments about wanting to face off against him in a promo battle.
For those who may have missed it, Ric Flair recently told Sports Illustrated the following regarding MJF:
“I’m dying to go one on one with MJF, man. It would get a rating too. ‘Let’s talk, young man.’”
