As previously reported here on eWn, CM Punk ripped Colt Cabana, Hangman Page, and AEW EVPs (Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks) at the post-AEW All Out media scrum. Punk was part of a fight with Nick and Matt Jackson after the scrum that included Omega and Ace Steel.
AEW stripped Omega and The Bucks of the Trios Titles and suspended them. Steel allegedly bit Omega during the ordeal.
During the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer indicated that one version of the story is that Omega was trying to break things up at the time. Steel was dealing with Nick when Omega came up from behind him to pull him off and Steel believed Omega was trying to crossface him, so he bit him.
Other accounts noted Steel was trying to protect his wife and Punk’s dog Larry. There were reports that he also threw a chair and pulled Omega’s hair.
