Previously here on eWN, it was reported that All Elite Wrestling had pulled two of their talents from the upcoming WrestleCon, which takes place on April 2-5 in Tampa, FL. Darby Allin and Sammy Guevara are now advertised for The Great Philadelphia Comic Con, which runs April 3-5 in Philadelphia, PA.

However, Orange Cassidy, Nyla Rose, and Kris Statlander are still scheduled to appear at the convention. In addition, Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho were booked through Barry Bloom Talent Agency, which supersedes AEW, while Jon Moxley was booked through PrimeTime Appearances.

Fightful reports that WrestleCon was told that AEW didn’t want their merchandise sold in Tampa and specifically at WrestleCon. Also, WrestleCon was told that AEW didn’t want talent wrestling on any WrestleMania weekend shows.

It’s said to be a business decision, not personal. In the past, AEW EVP Cody has said multiple times he doesn’t want to “piggyback” on WWE shows.
