AEW’s expansion continues as they gear up for the launch of a new primetime show called Collision, set to air every Saturday night on TNT.
Tony Khan, the President, CEO, Head of Creative, Booker and General Manager of the company, has taken on the responsibility of booking three AEW shows in addition to his involvement with ROH and other non-wrestling projects. To aid him in the creative aspects, he has brought in some noteworthy individuals.
In recent news, it was revealed that Jimmy Jacobs, a former writer for WWE and Impact Wrestling, has joined AEW as a coach/producer. Jacobs is best known for his collaboration with Chris Jericho during their time in WWE, where they introduced memorable elements like “The List” and had an association with Kevin Owens.
According to a report from Pwinsider, Kevin Matthews, a former Impact Wrestling star and WWE developmental talent, was spotted at Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite TV tapings. While Matthews had previously participated in Dark tapings, it seems he has now transitioned into a behind-the-scenes role within the company. However, the exact nature of his position remains undisclosed.
