We have some updates to pass along regarding a rumor going around about The Young Bucks.
There was a report going around that The Bucks reached out to WWE several months ago to gauge interest about possibly coming in once their current deals with All Elite Wrestling are up.
Fightful Select reports that the rumor has been floating around since August, and that a source indicates The Bucks asked to speak to someone within WWE, although the site was unable to confirm it. However, others close to The Young Bucks note that they haven’t received that indication at all, and aren’t even sure who they’d reach out to in WWE, unless it was a talent who would then approach management with the idea.
One person who works with higher ups in WWE has noted that the rumor has been heard, but they haven’t asked people of importance out of fear of how it would be received. They did note that The Young Bucks did almost sign with WWE before AEW launched, so there would be no need to gauge interest if that were the case.
