All Elite Wrestling’s inaugural ‘House Rules’ event held at the Hobart Arena in Troy, Ohio marked the company’s first house show in nearly two years. AEW’s only house show prior to this, The House Always Wins, emanated from Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, FL on April 9, 2021.
Despite not featuring many high-profile names and limited promotion on its broadcasts, the event drew a commendable crowd. Per WrestleTix, approximately 3,200 tickets were distributed, which is just shy of the venue’s capacity.

This success may encourage more frequent house shows, particularly in mid to small-level markets that currently lack television or pay-per-view coverage. The next stop on the ‘House Rules’ tour will be at the Saddledome in Calgary on July 15th, which will also mark the culmination of AEW’s tour of Canada in June-July later this year.
