As reported earlier here on eWn, WWE talent have no idea how many people have tested positive for COVID-19 but it’s rumored to be in the double digits. The names are not being released (unless they say so themselves) due to HIPAA laws. Some of the talents are actually asking the dirtsheet websites how many positive tests there are because we would “know better than them.”

According to reports, there is little to no communication between WWE and their talents these days. As we’ve been reporting, many of them are extremely frustrated as they have families and children to go home to and aren’t being told anything other than come take a test at certain times. As of last week, Kevin Dunn was urging fans in the crowd to remove their masks if they wanted to remain in the crowd. He actually came over the WWE Performance Center PA system twice last week at the TV tapings and reiterated that. Just three months ago, WWE provided the name of the infected individual (Kayla Braxton), how she contracted it, and how she was doing in an internal memo.

One main roster talent added that they wished WWE would do testing after the tapings as well.

Multiple WWE NXT wrestlers had to be tested again after “being exposed to somebody positive,” but most of them tested negative as of earlier this week. There has also been some concern over several gatherings among wrestlers. There are also still some people at the Performance Center who were not required to come in for testing before this week.

WWE NXT talent were sent a memo yesterday at 9AM that said: “Per Vince, ALL Talent are needed for TV on Friday & Saturday. Please go to PC by 10:30 AM TODAY for drive-through COVID testing. If you took test yesterday, you don’t need to today. If you are in high level storyline, you will be off camera. Thanks. **IMPORTANT: after test, you will need to remain ISOLATED AND QUARANTINED until after the TV tapings.”

Many of those talents missed the deadline and were waiting for a new location as of 5PM yesterday. Those who were tested yesterday still don’t have their results back. Several NXT and Performance Center talent were planning to skip this week’s tapings after the second test, which was only affirmed by the other positive tests later on. However, they were “urged” to come in even though they weren’t okay with doing it.
