At the closing bell on Wednesday, WWE’s stock was at $45.86. That is up $0.86 (1.91%) from Tuesday’s closing price.
It appears Kairi Sane’s unclear future with WWE remains up in the air as a new report from talkSPORT and Alex McCarthy notes that Sane departing the promotion (as has been rumored) is far from a given and that while she is strongly considering returning to homeland Japan, WWE is fully intent on trying to “take care of her” and they plan on offering her a lucrative contract to remain in North America. The belief is that they will offer her more money than she could receive anywhere else and believe that Sane can be convinced to sign a new contract, with her current one reportedly set to expire next month. The report adds that after her last concussion in a match against Nia Jax, Sane was “shaken up” and it triggered her questioning her wrestling future.
Shayna Baszler, who is apparently healthy but has seen her push end with Paul Heyman’s removal from power on RAW and kept off TV by Vince McMahon, recently taped a match at the Performance Center for a future airing on Main Event.
