WWE taped next week’s episode of Monday Night Raw on Tuesday. During the taping, a match between Nia Jax and Kairi Sane was temporarily stopped due to Sane suffering a bad bump and cutting her head. Sane was thrown into the steel steps, which resulted in the cut. The bump was said to have knocked her silly.
Sane has a history of concussions, but it has yet to be confirmed if she suffered another as a result of this bump. Initial reports led some to believe that Jax was blamed for the incident, but according to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, people who witnessed the bump do not believe that is the case.
Jax is not being blamed for what happened, as one person described it, Sane was in control of her own bump, and made it look too good. Another source adds that Sane may have stumbled or taken a wrong move.
