In January, Vince McMahon returned to WWE as the Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors. He stepped away last year due to sexual misconduct allegations. Triple H took over WWE creative duties from McMahon in July.
While appearing on ESPN’s First Take, WWE CEO Nick Khan was asked why he took the job with WWE a few years ago after handling WWE’s media rights negotiations.
Before answering, Khan stated that there’s only one person who actually runs WWE, and that’s Vince McMahon. He said,
“Just one note on that, I don’t run the WWE. There’s only one person who actually runs the WWE, Vince McMahon. A lot of folks help me to help run the WWE.”
