At today’s NJPW Declaration of Power event, the main event for Wrestle Kingdom 17 was announced.
We’ll see Jay White defending the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against G1 Climax winner Kazuchika Okada at the Tokyo Dome on January 4, 2023.
White successfully defended the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against Tama Tonga in the main event of Monday’s show.
White is 4-1 against Okada and holds a win over him at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 13.
